Looks Genes

These are the main types of genes that affect how a creature looks.
They mostly have no direct affect on gameplay and are just for the sake of diversity.

The genus gene also affects how creatures react to it,
and C1 only allows same species breeding.

Typically a creature will only have a single Genus gene, but some such my Grellorans have two that are sex-linked.

Usually a creature will have four appearance genes, one for each body part.
Those with sex linked such as YinYangs have twice as many.

Only Wingies have wing genes.

Typical creatures have twelve pigment genes, four for each primary colour.

02 blue
12 Intensity How strong the colour is, the higher
the number the more intense the colour

If set to 80 (128) then that colour channel is unchanged.
Higher numbers increase that pigment, lower ones reduce it

Recently it was discovered that Pigment Bleed gene extensions work in C1:

which is "gext"
Previously thought unimplemented in C1,
can be optionally added to the end of the pigment gene to turn it into a Pigment Bleed Gene.

17RotationLower values mean hue is rotated: R>B>G
Rotation of 80 means no change
Higher values mean hue is rotated: R>G>B
18SwapLower values mean hue is made more red
Swap of 80 means no change
Higher values mean hue is made more blue
Swap does not affect green hue
