Creatures have lived in
simulated worlds since 1994.
So here are some of the oldest creatures
I've found in my digital travels since the early days of 1996's C1.
Early sketches and developmental artwork can be found on this page.
Some
are official, especially the development ones, some are represented by
images alone,
others have genetics files (.GEN) or exported creature
(.EXP) files for them.
Early Ron version, very early Fox version, near final Banana norn
The later stuff is third party and are either natural, spliced or genetically modified.
Later still are official add-ons such as Purple Mountain Norns (PMN) and the Life Kit (Ron norns remade and Forest norns)

are famous immortals. The norns use less glucose to produce glycogen, than they break it down into - therefore glucose just steadily increases.
