Formlessness
Family Tree

In the beginning the world was formless. In the middle of the mists Aitu took form. Humanlike and immense it held great power in its misty arms, though its shape was indefinite and changed. For a while it was content with changing shape and discovering things about itself.

Growing tired of the mists it blew them away above itself, and pushed some of it down below, treading it down to become solid. It named the mists above the skies and the solids below the earths.

It then decided to create companions for itself.

Firstly it created Laitar, it was devoid of gender and was sterile. It was happy with its lot and watched Aitu creating.

Next Aitu created Lubasha, the hermaphrodite with many quivering breasts and sexual organs of several types. Lubasha began to masturbate almost immediatey and made love to itself, making itself pregnant.

Seeing the twin children growing in Lubasha's belly, Laitar grew jealous that such a gift be lacking in it's own body and begged Aitu for a similar gift.

Aitu then altered Laitar's hands, giving them nimble fingers to aid the first one in acts of creation.

Together they created Trantah, the stout, horned and armless one, and Lobist the slender and sinuous legless one.

Lastly they created Arna, a creature with only a pair of membranes as limbs.

Pleased with the works it had created, Aitu blessed the five first people and gave them great power, saying farewell he dispersed into the mists, becoming one with the world again. The others now named the world Atuna, the god of the universe.

----------

Little did they know, but the twins in Lubasha's womb were blessed as well, so that when they were born, they swelled to adult hood in a few days. These are the seven principle gods, the old first people.

Lubasha's first two children were joined at the back, having the form of a two-faced, four armed and four legged androgyne. At first they were happy, giving themselves the name Resaimenod, but after a while they longed to see each other's faces so much they begged their mother to help them. Lubasha took a piece of flint and broke it so it was sharp, then she cut them into two and Laitar kissed their wounds and healed them. Now independent, they split their name, the masculine Menod and the feminine Resai, and they became lovers and soon Resai became pregnant.

----------

Now as Lubasha began to climax again and conceive for the second time, the three younger of the first people grew jealous that they had not similar gifts of reproduction and sex. They approached Lubasha and begged him to help them. Trantah, Loboist and Arna asked each her for sexual organs so they could breed as they did. Eventually Lubasha agreed if they would swear by their life blood and by the lives of their children not to harm her or her blood, readily they agreed. For a long time the pleaders undertook oaths and solemn swearing, in which Lubasha called upon all of the others as witnesses.

Later, with the help of Laitar to aid the transfer of organs, Trantah became a man with two pensised, Arna became a triple-breasted female and Lobist became a hermaphrodite.

Lubasha only had enough organs to remain female, although he still had four breasts.

Meanwhile Resai had given birth to the children of Menod; Mashra and Graeli. They were unblessed by Aitu, as were all others born after, and were much smaller than their parents and weaker in spirit.

----------

Now that Laitar was alone, he created a child for itself, he formed it from earth mixted with its own blood. A small child was named Lia which was then breathed into life. Travelling north they came near the edge of the world . Together they built themselves an immense mountain in which to live, and a large, but graceful castle upon the tip of the mountain to be their dwelling.

Laitar did not realise that he was watched by Arna and Lobist, who had followed their journey to the edge of the world. Not wishing to disturb them, they explored the soft misty edges of the world. After a while Arna became bored of the impenetrable mists and looked up the mountain and saw how near the top appeared to the skies. She struggled up the mountain and, after seeking permission, scaled Laitar's castle and leaped into the sky. Finally she realised the purpose of her apparently useless and flimsy limbs. She glided gracefully in the airs and whipped up winds wherever she flew.

Lobist was fascinated by the thick, but unformed matter that surrounded the world and, after seeing the joy of Arna decided to jump into the gulf. At once he realised that he could also glide in the watery liquid and decided to stay there and named his new home the ocean, where she begat many children of varied sizes and filled the great ocean with his descendants.

After a long time living in the sea, he became as if part of the sea himself and gave the crown of the sea to his eldest child Kroin, in so doing he became immortal himself.

----------

Lubasha gave birth for the second time to a son, two-headed Lamucks. As she was now female and so sought for a consort, she decided to marry her son for he seemed beautiful to her. Together they had three more children, a son Pelai and two daughters Fentil and Phrona. They were overjoyed at each new baby, but they dreaded one thing. They knew that Lamucks was mortal, unlike the seven, and Trantah alone knew their time to die. As they never wished to be parted they met with him and begged.

Eventually he conceded, agreeing he would grant him safety from mortal death by giving him the thread of his life to him to control. In return he asked them to aid him in wooing his loved one, the swift and flighty Arna. They were both overjoyed and worried, for they knew how independent and aloof Arna was.

Together Lamucks and Lubasha crafted a cunning plan. They knew that Arna was fond of Resai so they asked her to act as if she were hurt, and when she descended to help her, they leapt form a cave and cast a net of iron over her, so ensnaring her. Trantah kept to his deal and gave the thread of mortality to Lamucks, so making him deathless. Resai, Menod and Lubasha shared their blood with Lamucks so that he grew great in power as one of the seven.

----------

Trantah took his new wife deep underground, to the place he felt drawn to as home. Through long tunnels and caves he had dug, and now he expanded them. When he had created a chamber for her, he raped Arna brutally and sealed her inside her chamber with a large stone. He raped her repeatedly and she conceived and laid five eggs.

Resai felt guilty for her part in the abduction, and felt increasing shame in her soul. Unable to convince any of her family to aid her except her youngest daughter Phrona, she set off down the long paths into the underworld.

They tricked Trantah by promising sexual pleasure to him, and being the lusty fool he is, he tried letting them into the prison of Arna, when she escaped, Trantah's attention being upon the goddesses. She also took with her the more graceful of her children, Marea and Lucean. Swiftly they escaped the underworld.

Angry Trantah shook the earth in his fury for being tricked and frightened the dwellers of the earth above.

Ruling as a trinity, Phrona, Resai and Arna became queens of the heavens and Resai and Arna were lovers. On the Earth below, Menod took his nephew Polai as a lover. His son Mashra took his cousin Fentil as a second wife. Eventually they died of old age, but the human race continued.

When Phrona died, the queens Resai and Arna turned her soul into a bright star to light the sky at night. Lucean married Marea and begat the graceful race of the sky people, although some of their descendants became fierce warriors, with short horns and fire in their eyes like their fore sire.

After a while, the races of heaven cleaved into two main groups, the Angel graces were builders of the clouds and rainbows of heaven and gardeners of the stars, the ArchAngels were the guards and warriors of heaven, who rode the storm winds and raged in lightnening.

----------

Plotting revenge, Trantah and Menod turned Arna into a fiery ball called the sun and Trantah asked her if she would return to him, she refused so they turned Resai into an icy ball called the moon. They were forever doomed to be apart, ruling the skies alternately, but in revenge Arna set fire to the home of Trantah and stoked the flames each night when Resai ruled over the night.

Each eclipse, the lovers met again and forgot to light the world for a few moments when they consummated their love.

----------

Trantah eventually forgot his wrath until he realised that many of souls of the people that had died did not enter his dreary realm. With the help of his terrible sons, who helped him carve and run his underground realm, they discovered that the lost souls were being turned into stars by the queens of the heavens.

Angrily, they carved wings of obsidian and Trogg and Ghlast flew to heaven to contest their mother. The upset was eventually settled peacefully and it was decided that those souls that were heavy with sin would enter the dark and fiery realm and those buoyant with virtue would enter heaven to become stars.

Underground, the horned ones brutally tortured the wicked souls that were sent to them, the sons of Trantah being corrupted and delighting in violence. In the hells of the world, cold darkness and rivers of fire made harsh deserts and cruel prisons. Trantah still ruled over the fates of all mortals, deciding their lifespan with harsh rigidity, but those that were good and virtuous in life escaped his grip and ascended to the skies.

Here, the kindly sky people tended to them, fulfilling their last wishes if they were deemed worthy, and then being turned into a star, its beauty and brightness being judged on the purity of their soul.

----------

Gutran was a hideous woman, with shrivelled breasts and limp hair clinging to her twisted horns. She mated with both her father and her brother Trogg to begat terrible children, each one more cruel and ugly than the last. Their first son and daughter became mates of Ghlast. Incest, adultery and rape ran rife in the underworld.

----------

Labucks and Lubasha decided eventually to pass the crown of ruling to their sons Menod and Polai, and they reached up their arms and intertwined together and became the first tree. This spectactular tree grew immense and was named Eloquin, from its seeds many plants grew, all green things grew at their feet and the children of the earth spread the seeds and created a huge beautiful garden. The second people where those that inhabited the garden, which they tended and their skin grew a green tint. Laughter was quick to their lips as they played in the fresh garden. Other people lived outside of the garden and lived in the plains where the grass grew thin.
