Jade told us the reason why he didn't talk for awhile

Polinesia had laid her egg and, after hearing Jade's story, vowed to find Cappie (in another albia) and make sure she is safe. Jade has sworn his life to protect Polinesia's egg while she is gone.

------The telescope

Erin sits there it is night time and the sky is clear of clouds. All the stars are out tonight and Erin is viewing them all. "Kinda makes you feel tiny" she said to herself. She continued looking, until something caught her eye. One of the stars was moving! "a shooting star, a comet?" She said, excited by this find. It was nither it was something she didn't expect. She watched it carefully, adjusting the telescope to keep it in view. It was comming tword albia, she summised after awhile. "A space ship" she yelled, "The Shee have come for us"

The space ship landed. The space ship was small and quiet, thus only Jade, with his keen scenses noticed it as well. Erin ran tword the ship, waiting to see the shee and to thank them for comming. She stood before the door. The door slowly opened. Erin's heart shattered as what stood before her was not some awesome being, but a human. "Well that didn't take long" Said the human to another standing behind him. Erin heard about these humans. She turned and bolted as fast as she could. She got only a few feet when a net was thrown over her. She was trapped. She screamed and cried as the draged her onto the ship. Jade's ears pearked up, he heard her, he knew she was in trouble. "ANDY" jade screamed "what" he replied

"I need you to protect this egg with your life, Let NOTHING distract you DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

Andy was frightened by this, never had he seen jade so serious, or demanding. "y-y-yes" Andy wimpered

"If you see Pinstar(the hand) tell him that Erin is in trouble"

"Right" Andy said this time a little more sure of himself

Jade sprinded to the ship that was starting to take off he grabed one of the landing gears and held on.

The ship took off and the gear retracted into the craft, bringing Jade with it.

--- in a part of the ship

"What are you doing, why did you bring me here" Erin cryied. She was locked in a small tight cramp cage. "Oh it talked, Dr. Cunnings, take note that these creatures are not dumb animals."

"Let me out!"she cried

"oh don't worry little one, you won't be in there for long, we have a much bigger cage back at the lab" Said the human

"(gulp) 'lab'?" Erin wimpered

"Why yes the lab, we are going to study you, to see if you... things... are of any use to us"

"'USE TO US' What do you mean by that?" Erin yelled

"You know, would you make good pets, or be productive livestock"

"I'm no farm animal!"

"You have the potential to be, from our observations, you, things,..."

"Norns, we are norns" Erin corrected

"... Right, norns, lay eggs. Those eggs, however, swell in size. Do you know how much more you norns could produce than chickens?" Erin had no idea what 'chickens' were but she guessed that is was some poor animal, enslaved by humans.

"no I don't" erin replied

"About 5 times as much"

Erin's face brightened "Ha, we don't lay them very often, in fact females only lay 1 egg during their lifetime" Erin was lieing but the human knew no better, she was hoping that human would give up on the norns and return her. She wasn't that lucky

"Science can fix that" The human responded, with a very smug look on his face

Erin gulped again. She was losing hope quickly and searched for anything that would give her some.

"The hand will save me" she thought but that hope faded quickly, she was beyond albia's borders and the hand couldn't go beyond there, he couldn't even export her.

She laid down in the cage and cried softly in despair.

------In another part of the ship

Jade was in an air duct, he had been crawling around, unnoticed. He heard Erin's conversation with the human and vowed to save her, even if it meant him self dying, or worse.

----Back in albia

Word was spread like wildfire and everyone was in the kitchen. Andy brought the egg too, it was in hiberanation but they could always use the incubator. Right now, Polinesia didn't want to hatch the egg,she reasoned that no child should have to be brought into this world in the middle of something like this. "Where is Jade?" Pinstar yelled slaming his fist on the table.

"He went with the humans to save her"

"WHAT" everyone said in unison

"you mean the humans took him too" Pinstar said

"No, he said 'I'm going to save her' and then ran off"

Polinesia needed someone to talk to. She found that talking about something lessened the pain from it(someone's sig) then she realised that the person she, as well as everyone else, talked to her when something bad happened.

"What can we do?" Polinesia asked

------Back on the ship

"Landing sequence initiated" said a computerised voice over the intercom. "Permission granted to dock on Labratory landing pad #4" The ship was decending to the planet

"What can I do" Jade thought to himself
